Oh yeah and someone threw a chair and ran away before he got caught. This also happened during the opening act btw lol when slipknot finally came the pit got to big and people were froced into without consent. Im in my 20s and even i know that was unacceptable behavior. I understand that you wanna unleash the beats but grow up man. His response: "SORRY MAN ITS SLIPKNOT WE GET CRAZY HERE GET USED TO IT" that man in question was at least in his 40s. Her dad asked him to try to mosh in the other direction. This is based on personal experience.ĭouche at a slipknot show kept moshing himself putside of the pit zone and almost hit a girl multiple times. It comfirmed that this wasn't a one time thing, rather a problem with Rap culture to commit as many crimes as possible.Įdit: an actual unpopular opinion on r/unpopularopinions and I get downvoted. Yes, this was spurred by the horrendous incident from Astroworld. At one show I've seen a gun flashed at another moshers. Ive seen people get thrown the floor and trampled, and no one stopped it. Ive seen people punching randoms and running, ive had the collar of my shift grabbed and tried to get yanked in, until me and friends threw them off. I've gone to 3 rap "concerts" with friends and it was the worst thing ever being a primarly a metal head. Also moshers will obviously respect the classic "arms crossed, dont bring me into the mosh" In metal shows, I felt safe, people helped to pick you up, bands have stopped sets, and if you ever close fist swing your arms around you will either be asked to be thrown out by the band, or if that doesnt happen the crowd will make you wish you never went.
